Help Heather Walk
Atlanta Parrot Head Club member Heather Ousley suffered
a spinal cord injury in an auto accident several years ago. Since then she's
been on an amazing but difficult path of recovery. Her goal is simple: to make
a full recovery and walk again. It's not easy, but it's not impossible. It is
expensive.
Donations to help Heather will be collected at the club Happy Hours. Donations
may also be made by check made out to "The Atlanta Parrot Head Club" and mailed
to Ann Gotthelf at 2300 Peachtree Road, Suite B-206, Atlanta, GA 30309. Please
note "Help Heather Walk" on your check. You may also make a donation online
via PayPal on Heather's website

Community service points for the Parrothead Cruise are awarded for pitching in to help with the upcoming cruise. We have a three tiered approach: To receive a community service point (only one point per member) you must complete one of the following three "tiers":
- Go on the cruise, and volunteer at least 2 hours working a charity event during the cruise. Brent Jones maintains a signup sheet for this.
- Sell (or buy) at least 2 Cruise Raffle tickets. See the Parrothead Cruise website for details.
- Volunteer at least 2 hours in pre-cruise activities. Please contact Brent Jones (brent@parrotheadcruise.com) to sign up for these activities. He will be maintaining this list and assigning tasks on a first-come, first-served basis. This will include activities like making ID badges, stuffing goody bags, etc.
