Hello, and welcome to the web page of the Atlanta Parrot Head
Club, the ORIGINAL Parrot Head club. We were the first parrot head club, founded in 1989
by Scott Nickerson. We are about 160 members strong at last count, and a very active club,
indeed.
If you're not familiar with Parrot Heads and Parrot Head
Clubs, you may be wondering who we are and what we do. A lot of people think parrot heads
are a bunch of drunken, beer-swilling louts who do nothing but dream of living in the
islands and who pass out on the lawn at Buffett concerts. Ok, so we are; but we're more
than that. We're just a bunch of people from all walks of life who like the music,
lifestyle (whether real or imagined), and attitude toward living of Jimmy Buffett. We also
sponsor or participate in numerous community and charitable events throughout the year,
including the Chattahoochee River cleanup, Peachtree Rd cleanup, AIDS and Alzheimers
walks, etc. We also meet regularly for happy hours (first, third, and sometimes fifth
Thursday of each month) at Power's Court in Buckhead. We also plan events and go on those
wonderful road trips to see Mr. Buffett and our favorite Buffett Tribute band, A1A.
If you'd
like to join The Atlanta Parrot Head Club, it's easy. Just click

For a
calendar of events, click here, or you can call the Parrot Head
Hotline at 770-989-2510 for a recorded message.
Pictures, you ask? Have we ever got pictures. Click here to see the people our parents warned us about. We'll be
adding more as the winds of time blow over our head.
Here are some links to other pages. There are way too many
Buffett related links to list, so these are just a few of our favorites.
This
remains the definitive Buffett links page, maintained by Dave April. Visit here to find all kinds of other links, including the Great Lyrics Compilation
and lots of images and sounds.
Visit A1A's web page. Find out what the boys
(Scott and Jeff) are up to and how to book A1A. They are a *great* band, and just LOVE to
play for parrot heads, anytime, anywhere (well, almost).

Pike's web page. Besides playing in A1A, Jeff has another group called Vertical Smile, and
a solo act.
